What is BeerXML?

BeerXML is a standard that has been designed to facilitate the exchange of recipes and other brewing information (e.g. hop data, malt information, etc.) between different brewing software programs. Hopefully, this will take off and the different brewing softwares will incorporate this so someone using ProMash can share information and recipes with someone using BeerSmith or StrangeBrew. If you would like to submit a recipe, please send it to recipes@brew-monkey.com in BeerXML and/or BSM format. Please include the name of the beer, brewer's name, the style of beer (BJCP 2004 Guidelines will be used for classification) and if it is All Grain, Partial Mash, or Extract.
